M C Escher Neckties

The works of Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher (1898-1972) stand alone among artistic movements of the 20th century. In the geometric phenomena of symmetry, infinity, and paradoxes of perspective, Escher found rich material for his almost supernatural images. He used observations of the visible world, his own imagination or a combination of the two to create a masterful deception of the human eye. These ties were produced in cooperation with the M.C. Escher Foundation in Baarn, Holland. A portion of the sales of these ties donated by the importer supports the foundation. www.mcescher.com
In the Escher Woven Collection, the design is woven into the fabric instead of being printed on the surface.
The tie is heavier and all together very impressive.

All ties are new and purchased from the manufacturer except for ties with "Collector" in the title.
Only these "Collector" ties have been gently used by a previous owner. Many of my customers collect ties in specific themes and I help them find treasures. Some ties were given as gifts to the wrong person and get passed on without even being worn. Other ties might have been chosen for a specific occasion and rarely worn again.
